Back home after our trip along the Silk Road

We are back home after our trip along the Silk Road from Istanbul to Beijing. It was an exciting trip, but not frightening or unsafe. Particularly seen many, many people with different cultures and customs. Countries with their various administrative procedures and practices. We have traveled 10 times by trains, 6 times with a car and one time with a bus. We slept in 19 different hotels and 6 times in the train. The language, especially in communicating with government officials, was a problem, especially as we went further east. But overall almost everyone was friendly.
